A.A.S degree from an accredited institution or school with NATEF certification or completed ASE Master Technician Certification (8 certifications total) and official/final high school transcript.
Students may transfer with an associate degree from Penn College or other regionally accredited colleges with an equivalent major. Penn College officials will evaluate transcripts prior to admission to major and minor status. Automotive Service Excellence (ASE), Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) certification, or industry-specific training that includes full-time industry work experience will be evaluated on an individual basis for credit as determined by the Department of Automotive Industry.
Alternative credits refer to academic credits earned in ways other than traditional university courses, including: credits through graduation, articulation, evidence of competencies acquired in high school, work/life experience, and advanced placement.

As a condition for enrollment in undergraduate studies, students must have obtained an extraordinary degree.
*Not all students from the 2017 and 2018 cohorts have yet graduated, so the numbers for these two years are not an accurate reflection of the average time to graduation for the entire cohorts.
International students studying in the United States on an F-1 visa must be enrolled in person for the entire course of study. Students may not apply for a fully online degree. Online degrees are available to international students graduating from their home country. Students must still meet all college admission criteria and any specific admission requirements governing the pursuit of their chosen major.

With each syllabus providing equal weightage for practical exposure. Thus, each student gets the opportunity to work on 4 smaller and 4 larger projects. To complete the degree, each student must successfully submit a synopsis for 1 minor and 1 major project. The project phase begins at the end of the second month of lectures. For each project, teams are assembled based on the following parameters:
Once project teams are ready, each team presents its timeline and project update in weekly update sessions. Each team is assigned a technical mentor to provide personal assistance to each student. The mentor is responsible for the following activities:
After the student completes the assigned project, the group presents their final project and offers a final major project to qualified students. The same methodology is used during the main project. Larger projects, however, require more attention and skills, so each participant must obtain an additional certificate of completion upon completion of a larger project.
