Cheapest Place To Stay In Colorado – As much as I love the combination of hot water, soaking, and the smell of sulfur, I lived in Pagosa Springs for ten years and sat in the hot springs once. Yes, part of it was my reluctance to be seen in public in a bathing suit, but the biggest worry was sharing bath water with strangers. So, I’m the perfect demographic for this article!
Colorado’s private hot springs are abundant and extremely diverse in their offerings. With the exception of Dunton Hot Springs, which is on the prairie itself, the average price for lodging is $300-$600 per night. Personally absorb all the healthy mineral salts.

Located about ten minutes west of Buena Vista’s beautiful historic district, Merrifield Homestead Cabins and Hot Springs offers a rewarding retreat for the weary traveler. They have two spacious cabins for rent, all fully equipped for a comfortable stay.

The hotel is located in the valley at the beginning of Cottonwood Pass. Both cabins overlook Cottonwood Creek, each with their own custom hot spring tub. It is open all year round for those who want to warm their bodies and soothe their souls.
Antero Hot Springs Cabins is another Nathrop neighborhood located along Chalk Creek. Choose from three different accommodation options, each with its own large, hand-shaped, hot spring pool, fed by a spring on the property. Their cabins book up 6-8 months in advance, so please plan ahead.
Over 60% of our guests are repeat guests, so that speaks volumes for this place. It’s a very intimate, unique hot spring experience.
The Cottonwood Cabin is a restored, hand-hewn log, split-level cabin nestled in a meadow along a stream. Rich in history, it was the old post office of Cottonwood Lakes at the turn of the century. After it was moved to its current location in 1920, an addition and a magnificent quartz fireplace were added.

The Colorado Trail is 100 yards from the front door of Hortense Cabin. This historic log cabin was built in the early 1920s and renovated in 2004. The cabin has three bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a great room. The large outdoor pool offers mountain views.
Perfect for large group gatherings, the 1,900-square-foot Chalk Cliff Chalet sits on two acres of meadow along Chalk Creek. Two outdoor fire rings add to the wow factor. The private hot spring pool sits at a base of chalk cliffs with 135 degree Fahrenheit mineral water flowing continuously from the pool.
Dunton Hot Springs’ motto is “It has to be seen to be seen”. Nestled in a secluded valley in the San Juan Mountains, Dunton Hot Springs is a carefully restored ghost town that truly resembles a movie set. This is some Laura Ingalls Wilder.

Vacation Apartments & Rentals In Manitou Springs From $86 / Night
Exquisitely crafted hand-hewn log cabins, a well-worn saloon serving amazing quality food, lung-crushing trails followed by pampering massages, sensual hot springs beneath a glistening snowbank.
There is no cell phone service, but high-speed wireless Internet access is available in each stateroom and video conferencing is available in the ballroom. The authentically restored log cabins are each distinctive in their impeccable furnishings and ambiance. Cabins surround the salon and ballroom and are steps away from the bathhouse, which seems like a misnomer for the luxurious spa experience here.
Guests have many wonderful choices: the pool inside the restored 19th-century bathhouse or outside the bathhouse; Under the stars at the fountain or out on the river; Or the pool behind the Dunton store cabin. The Well House Cabin is Dunton’s only private pool. The cabin was built around a small on-demand hot spring and offers its own cool plunge to go with it.
Dunton can accommodate a maximum of 44 guests. Available for private group hire. What a noise that would be! Cabins range in size from one to five bedrooms. Prices here are all-inclusive and range from about $1,500 to $3,500 per night, depending on cabin selection and season. Food is included in the lounge with daily menu changes, and all beverages and alcohol are covered except on the reservation list.

Proudly called the capital of Colorado, Denver has a fascinating history dating back to the days of the Wild West era, a time of cowboys, pioneers and outlaws. However, now Denver is primarily a cosmopolitan city surrounded by skyscrapers and spectacular mountain scenery.
If you’re visiting Colorado for the first time, this Mile High City is the place for you! Of course, the city center is where you’ll find most of the attractions, which are within walking distance of most hotels, and where you can enjoy the city’s nightlife! Located 200 miles (320 km) southwest of Denver, Aspen is a ski resort town, or winter wonderland as I like to call it, popular with winter sports enthusiasts. Although you can visit this place all year round for other outdoor activities like hiking or mountain biking, the real magic happens when the first snow hits the ground!
