Let’s talk about one of the most popular food items in the world- Pasta! Pasta is a versatile dish that can be prepared in many different ways. Today, I am going to share with you the recipe for a quick and easy Indian style pasta that you can make in just 5 minutes.
First things first, let’s take a look at the ingredients you’ll need:
– 2 cups cooked pasta
– 1 tablespoon oil
– 1 chopped onion
– 1 chopped tomato
– 1/2 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
– 1/4 tablespoon turmeric powder
– 1/4 tablespoon red chilli powder
– 1/4 tablespoon garam masala
– Salt to taste
– Fresh coriander for garnishing
Now that we have our ingredients sorted, let’s get started with the recipe.
In a pan, heat up some oil and add the chopped onion. Fry until it becomes golden brown in colour. Next, add the ginger garlic paste and stir well. Add the chopped tomatoes along with the turmeric powder, red chilli powder and garam masala. Mix it all together and let it cook for a couple of minutes.
Once the tomato mixture is cooked, add the cooked pasta to it and mix it well. Add salt to taste and stir well. Serve hot with some fresh coriander on top.
Now, let’s tackle the elephant in the room- how do we make pasta in 5 minutes? The answer is simple- use pre-cooked pasta! You can find pre-cooked pasta in most grocery stores and it can be a real time saver. Simply boil some water, add the pre-cooked pasta to it and let it cook for a minute or two. Drain the water and you’re ready to use it in this recipe.
