It Had To Be You Book – Mentioned in the title earns me a yes to reading! I love this movie, and when I saw that this book had a similar intertwined narrative that also included a wedding planner and all the best parts from various romantic comedies, I just had to make room for it in my calendar revision.
I’ve had good luck with well-made rom-coms lately and this one just begged me to read it. It looked so good and I loved the cover. I’ve never read anything by this author before, but after looking at his other titles, it looks like he’s written a few other well-received rom-coms, so I was really looking forward to reading this one.
It Had To Be You Book
I read this in a day and a half. I could have read it in a day but had to take a break to do things in life but it was a very quick and entertaining read too. I don’t know if it was a five star read, but it was a good book that got me excited for more of his works. If you’re a rom-com fan, this book should definitely be on your radar!

How To Write A Book Introduction That People Will Actually Read
This book started out so strong. I liked the characters, they were developed, memorable and likeable. There are five interrelated stories, but it’s immediately clear, but if you read the description and know that this novel follows
Narrative style, so you can keep track of everything. Immediately I felt invested and loved the chemistry between the characters and loved watching them all navigate love and life. But somewhere along the way, things seemed to get a little fuzzy.
The start was so solid and strong but as things started to build up and come to an end I felt like it lost a bit of steam and just didn’t end as strong as I had hoped so when I started the book. It wasn’t bad at all, I just felt he lost some momentum towards the end. I know some readers found it difficult to invest in multiple plots because it was in a rush. I don’t know if it felt “rushed” to me, but there was certainly a lot going on here and readers should be prepared for many interconnected stories. This is especially clear at the beginning of the book, when the characters appear from chapter to chapter. I was a little worried about where this book was going, but overall it connected well.
I really liked the setting and the wedding as the backdrop to the story. I’m not a big wedding fan, I personally got married in Las Vegas and didn’t want a big wedding. But I love the idea of being a wedding planner and planning someone else’s big day. So this book was a fun way for me to get a glimpse into the life of a wedding planner. I loved the setting and the characters were great and it really had it
